Custom Dashboards
A dashboard is a named page of widgets arranged on a grid. ANTS Platform maintains some dashboards for you, such as the Cost Dashboard and Latency Dashboard, and you can build your own.
Where to find dashboards
- Gauge AI > Cost Dashboard, Latency Dashboard and AI Usage in the sidebar open dashboards that ANTS Platform maintains.
- Go to... (Ctrl+K or Cmd+K) lists every dashboard in the project under Dashboards, including your own.
- The full list, with the Dashboards and Widgets tabs, is at
/project/<projectId>/dashboards. It is not in the sidebar today.
Viewing dashboards needs Gauge AI read access: Owner, Department Admin, Security & Compliance and Cost Analyst have it. Creating, editing, cloning and deleting dashboards and widgets needs Gauge AI write access: Owner, Department Admin and Cost Analyst. See Members & Roles.
Build a dashboard
Create it
On the dashboards list select New dashboard. Enter a Dashboard Name and an optional Description, then select Create Dashboard.
Add widgets
Select Add Widget. Pick a widget from the project's widget library and select Add Selected Widget, or select Create New Widget to build one. See Widgets.
Arrange
Drag widgets to move them and drag their corners to resize them. The layout is saved with the dashboard.
Filter
Use the date range picker and the filter builder at the top. Filters apply to every widget on the dashboard while you view it. You can filter by Environment, Trace Name, Observation Name, Score Name, Tags and User, and for Budget AI traffic by Source, Gateway key and Gateway model group.
Dashboards maintained by ANTS Platform
Dashboards that ANTS Platform maintains show (ANTS Platform Maintained) after their name and ANTS as their owner in the list. You cannot edit them. Select Clone to make your own editable copy.
Manage dashboards
The dashboards list shows each dashboard's name, description, owner and dates. From the Actions column you can edit the name and description, clone or delete a dashboard. Deleting a dashboard does not delete its widgets from the widget library.
Download data
Each chart has a download button that saves the chart's data as a CSV file.
